A graduate of the Phillips Exeter Academy, Skidmore College and the Gonzaga School of Law, Paul has been in private practice with his own firm since 1994. Prior to that he was a long serving trial lawyer as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Spokane County where he tried cases from misdemeanors to 1st degree murder.

A member and former president of the Spokane County Bar Association, Paul has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law and Politics magazine and a “Top Lawyer” as chosen by his peers in Spokane Magazine. He has served and chaired the boards of both Columbia Legal Services and the Legal Foundation of Washington. He was awarded the “Local Hero Award” by the Washington State Bar Association and is the 2012 recipient of the prestigious Smithmoore P. Myers Professionalism Award.

Joseph W. Brown

Originally from Brier, Washington, Joe attended the University of Washington in Seattle where he graduated with his B.A. in Political Science. He moved to Spokane to attend law school at Gonzaga University where he graduated summa cum laude. 

During law school, Joe both externed and worked in the Commissioner’s Office at Division III of the Washington State Court of Appeals. After graduating from law school, Joe moved to Olympia to work for Justice Mary Fairhurst of the Washington State Supreme Court. After a brief stint with the Office of the King County Prosecuting Attorney, Joe returned to Spokane to work for Judge Rosanna Malouf Peterson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.  Joe joined the office shortly after his term ended at the district court.

In addition to his work at the firm, Joe has coached the National Moot Court team at Gonzaga University School of Law for several years.

Jamey M. Minnihan

Jamey is a persistent litigator focusing her career on family law matters, including custody, divorce, support, parenting, dependency, and appeals. Jamey brings a unique perspective to family law issues. Her philosophy is to provide her clients with not only excellent representation, but also with the needed skills to successfully move forward with their lives. Jamey’s clients range from the simplest of mediations to the most complex matters involving high assets and high conflict. Jamey is sensitive to her client’s issues while dedicated to aggressively advocating for their interests.

Jamey graduated from Eastern Washington, with a Bachelor’s degree in English, cum laude, and a Master’s degree in Education, summa cum laude. Jamey graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law with a juris doctorate degree, magna cum laude. In law school, Jamey served as Managing Editor for the Gonzaga Law Review and as a member of the Moot Court Honors Council.

Jamey’s experience includes work as an Assistant Attorney General with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, Spokane County Prosecutor, and private civil and family litigation. She is admitted to practice in Washington and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

Aaron L. Jones

A lifelong Washington resident from humble beginnings, Aaron grew up in Spokane Washington and worked multiple jobs to support his family through college.  He graduated with honors from Gonzaga University in 2010 with his Bachelor’s in political science.  Aaron then clerked for Judge Annette Plese in Spokane County Superior Court for three years before enrolling at Gonzaga University School of Law in 2013.  In Law School, Aaron spent countless hours volunteering with University Legal Services, focusing on assisting low-income families and litigation against the I.R.S..  He received exceptional marks in legal research and writing, particularly in the highly technical areas of tax law and intellectual property.

After testing for the bar exam, Aaron was immediately hired to work in a fast-paced family law and criminal defense firm in central Spokane.  As a legal counselor and advocate, Aaron works tirelessly to ensure each and every client is well-informed and zealously represented in court. Aaron’s work ethic and experience are a valuable addition to the firm as we continue to provide Eastern Washington with unparalleled legal representation.

Carolynn R. Imes

An honors graduate of Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies, Carolynn was born and raised in Spokane.  She began her career as a legal assistant, working at the Law Office of Paul B. Mack and other family law focused firms as she put herself through college.  With over 10 years of experience assisting in complex family law matters and a genuine affinity for the nature of the work, Carolynn determined to enhance her abilities by becoming an attorney. In September 2016 she enrolled in the Washington State Bar Association Rule 6 Law Clerk program under the mentorship of Paul B. Mack.

An alternative to a traditional law school education, the Law Clerk Program is an independent study program under the guidance of a practicing attorney, providing an additional emphasis on the practical matters of client representation.  Balancing a full study and employment schedule, Carolynn works closely with attorneys to manage and execute representation. Upon successful completion of the program in November 2020 and passing the bar examination in February 2021, Carolynn will become an associate attorney at the Law Office of Paul B. Mack.
