A graduate of the Phillips Exeter Academy, Skidmore College and the Gonzaga School of Law, Paul has been in private practice with his own firm since 1994. Prior to that he was a long serving trial lawyer as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Spokane County where he tried cases from misdemeanors to 1st degree murder.

A member and former president of the Spokane County Bar Association, Paul has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law and Politics magazine and a “Top Lawyer” as chosen by his peers in Spokane Magazine. He has served and chaired the boards of both Columbia Legal Services and the Legal Foundation of Washington. He was awarded the “Local Hero Award” by the Washington State Bar Association and is the 2012 recipient of the prestigious Smithmoore P. Myers Professionalism Award.

Joseph W. Brown

Originally from Brier, Washington, Joe attended the University of Washington in Seattle where he graduated with his B.A. in Political Science. He moved to Spokane to attend law school at Gonzaga University where he graduated summa cum laude. 

During law school, Joe both externed and worked in the Commissioner’s Office at Division III of the Washington State Court of Appeals. After graduating from law school, Joe moved to Olympia to work for Justice Mary Fairhurst of the Washington State Supreme Court. After a brief stint with the Office of the King County Prosecuting Attorney, Joe returned to Spokane to work for Judge Rosanna Malouf Peterson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.  Joe joined the office shortly after his term ended at the district court.

In addition to his work at the firm, Joe has coached the National Moot Court team at Gonzaga University School of Law for several years.

Jamey M. Minnihan

Jamey is a persistent litigator focusing her career on family law matters, including custody, divorce, support, parenting, dependency, and appeals. Jamey brings a unique perspective to family law issues. Her philosophy is to provide her clients with not only excellent representation, but also with the needed skills to successfully move forward with their lives. Jamey’s clients range from the simplest of mediations to the most complex matters involving high assets and high conflict. Jamey is sensitive to her client’s issues while dedicated to aggressively advocating for their interests.

Jamey graduated from Eastern Washington, with a Bachelor’s degree in English, cum laude, and a Master’s degree in Education, summa cum laude. Jamey graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law with a juris doctorate degree, magna cum laude. In law school, Jamey served as Managing Editor for the Gonzaga Law Review and as a member of the Moot Court Honors Council.

Jamey’s experience includes work as an Assistant Attorney General with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, Spokane County Prosecutor, and private civil and family litigation. She is admitted to practice in Washington and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

Carolynn R. Imes

Carolynn, born and raised in Spokane, graduated with honors from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She began her career as a legal assistant, working at the Law Office of Paul B. Mack and other family law focused firms as she put herself through college. After assisting in complex family law matters for more than 10 years and with a genuine affinity for the nature of the work, she studied under and successfully completed the Washington State Rule 6 Law Clerk Program.

Covid-19
In response to federal, state and local guidelines, the people of The Law Office of Paul B Mack, PLLC will be working remotely whenever possible. We are augmenting remote work with in person meetings whenever possible using video-conferencing and, of course, telephone calls in addition to all other electronic forms of communication.
